Even though our trip to Mexico and Guatemala has been postponed to next year, we think it would be nice and interesting to share some of our study experiences in Finland from different cultural backgrounds with the students of the UNAM in Mexico.
We are happy to invite Paola and Jorge from Mexico as our guest speaker to share their study experience at the Sibelius Academy!
The webinar would be mainly hosted in Spanish but some parts of the discussion would be translated to English. The webinar will be at 11am in Mexican time (at 19 in Finnish time) and to be able to enter the webinar you could click on the following zoom link: https://uniarts.zoom.us/j/64341501719 . 9th May → AEKI Masterclass with cello, saxophone, and clarinet students at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh. 1pm-4:30 pm
10th May → AEKI Masterclass with cello, saxophone, and clarinet students at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh. 8:30-11:30 and 1pm- 4:30 pm
12th May → AEKI Masterclass and Concert event at the Soundskool in Siem Reap. 4pm
16th May → AEKI Workshop at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh. 8:30-11:30 “contemporary music composition” and 1pm-4:30pm “music education in Finland”.
17th May → AEKI Concert with the students and our own ensemble at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh. 8:30-11:30 (includes both rehearsal time and performance)
19th May → AEKI Masterclass and Concert at the Soundskool in Phnom Penh 12pm, please call Soundskool ahead of time!
9th July → ANTOINE Premiere of Bosba Panh’s composition written for our group in the Canary Islands, Fundacion Mapfre Gunarteme (Antoine will play with Rosa Alonso, clarinet and Alejandro Garcia, cello)
December – AEKI TBD we will be presenting and performing our Cambodia x Finland project in Helsinki! stay tuned
