Mexico x Guatemala x Finland 2020 (postponed 2021)
About our project
We believe that music can be a mode of communication that transcends language and provide an experience of connection between people without barriers. For this reason, we would like to use the genre of classical music to collaborate and share music from two extremely different parts of the world: Finland, Mexico, and Guatemala.

We are planning to travel to Guatemala and Mexico to perform music from Finland and new commission pieces from Mexican and Guatemalan composers. We also want to share about our different cultures as well as learn about the local cultures and connect with local musicians. We then plan to bring back what we learned from our experience to share with audiences in Finland and to our home countries.
